Im looking for a working version of Jurassic Park AGA

I know this question was already asked back in 2001, but does someone know where i can find a Jurassic Park AGA rom (adf) that is not from warez Paradox or Fairlight? Because both of them doesn't seem to be complete. they both have missing/broken disk files.
(Paradox = disk5, Fairlight= disk4) and they stil haven't fixed it.

Or is it possible someone can make a brand new one?

The only version that will work is the 4 disk SPS version from TOSEC, that's in IPF format and contains all the custom protection so would work under WinUAE and with a Kyroflux it can be written back to 4 real Amiga floppies!

Aww that's a shame. I'm sure Galahad/FLT might be able to oblige - I think he recently did a crack of another game (or at least cracked the protection fully).

Only in usenet, but I don't think the rules allow linking to SPS releases!

I've had a quick look at the ECS version, and i've already figured out the copy protection for the passwords menu part and know why it doesn't work.

Would be interested in knowing what all the problems are with Jurassic Park because I REALLY don't fancy playing it, but cracking it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I'd say it's probably harder than you think - after all it took Mr Larmer 5 solid days to deprotect it! It would surely be easier to incorporate the patches Mr Larmer and Psygore did than re-invent the wheel.

Nope. firstly I don't need to crib off other peoples work, wheres the challenge in that?

Secondly as far as i'm aware, the WHDLoad version isn't 100%, theres a protection check in one of the terminals that results in the Amiga crashing and WHDload not being able to exit.

No disrespect to Mr.Larmer, but I doubt it would take me 5 days to do it either!

Mr.E did an incredible work of protection on this game ; i'd be curious Phil if you could note like you did on double dragon 2 each protection you find on this game, since it's even more protected than parasol stars is :P

Call me sad, but I can't believe there is someone from FLT on forum! How amazing, the people at top bestowing us with their humble presence! I'm sure you could crack it fully - given the desire :P

Indeed, anyone still have the balls to wring blood, sweat and tears over this game? (Rotten tomatoes to any smart alec who suggests me!)

20 years on without a genuine 100% crack - ECS or AGA - of course Mr.E's protection did the job it was supposed to, but now I'd say this long extended honeymoon period is more or less over, wouldn't you say?

Having said that, the fact that Gamebase Amiga still lists a crack in its database - the PDX crack of the ECS version in this case - suggests that's maybe the closest one can get to completing the game with? They're not willing to list Cool Spot for as long as a 100% crack of that continues to not exist, so this must mean something!

Looks like MethodGit has just challenged himself to crack the game. This one will be interesting as there's no existing working crack for him to "analyse"

I wasn't kidding when I said rotten tomatoes, you rotters!

Stuff your bloody Jurassic Park!

What happened to Galahad's attempt anyway? He's the one who thought it looked like a breeze.

Its difficult to get excited about a game I don't like, it will happen, but frankly, there's more pressing stuff that needs doing like finishing up the SWOS update for WHDload

In other words MethodGit, you are free to crack it before Galahad.

Of course, I'm happy for Methodgit to take over this one. I look forward to his in depth analysis of its protection like he did for pm3 deluxe.
