Is it? I have the yellow vinyl version of that tune, I would never part with it but would be interested to know it's value

Not my picture but it's the same as that.

yeah thats the one. On ebay its going for £40... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Power-Pill...-/221084883449

...although on discogs you can pick it up for a bit cheaper- but I'll also never part with my vinyl!

I bought my 1210's in Feb '92 and they are still going strong to this day (plus they've never been serviced). Vinyl is still the daddy!

While it would certainly be fascinating to hear about the techniques people like h0ffman who have worked in the medium of 4 channels for decades have come up with...

The good thing about mods is you can open them in the tracker yourself and you will see exactly what kind of samples were used and how. You can play around with them and so on. The tutorial on how to make the song kinda comes with the song itself. So just download some songs you like, open them up in your favorite tracker, and start investigating.

"Vold" and "Hideous Mutant Freaks" by Spaceballs should work on CDTV with floppy, all the others require faster CPU:s and AGA.

@Billy Miles:
You may start with the documentation (e.g. press HELP in protracker). Almost everything is explained. Also the effect commands. It`s useful to have a printout of at least "effect commands" and "keyboard shortcuts". Try to experiment a bit. Load a sample and hit key "Q" in the patterneditor. Then add a effect command + value. Play it, change value and play again.

Example: C-302103

C-3 is the note
02 ist the sample number (01-1F)
1 is the command called portamento up
03 is the portamentospeed value

For questions open a new topic or search for one that matches because its a bit offtopic here.
