Great game music that wasn't
Hello. I've recently discovered some fantastic tunes that for storage or memory reasons didn't make the final cut.
Shadow of the Beast 2 has an amazing title song that was cut from the original release. It might have been intended as the background music for an intro similar to the first Beast, and then dropped when the animated intro was implemented. A very atmospheric, albeit shorter and less impressive song was chosen instead for the title screen. Listen to it here: http://23.237.126.42/soundfiles/amig...II%20Title.mp3 Thunder Blade A sublime rendition of the original arcade machine's song "Type II" was made by Jason Brooke (along with others) but never used in the actual game, probably because of memory requirements.
