on the ball league edition. it would have been player manager 2 aga but the save game didnt work or chewed up my disks so i became disallusioned with it though i have played it a lot, the last time it was my main amiga game was earlier this year for 3/4 months.

Best Football Management Game?
Im looking for your opinions on football management games and in general for games that ive missed that are worth tracking down for one reason or another.
Obviously I think we can omit Football Manager(Recent not Spectrum) and championship manager (again recent but as well as most old versions, 93, 95 and 97) Personally I think that Ultimate Soccer Manager 98 is one of the all time greats. Ive played 1 div manager on amiga and im not really a fan |

You should check out 'The Manager' by Software 2000. I must admit I haven't played many football management games, but I liked that one

I never knew there was 98 version. I never really liked the font of ultimate soccer manager.

Font on USM is hard to read but it is a great game.
Premier Manager 2 and Champ Man 93 were my personal favourites above all - there was lots of choice on the Amiga. |

For me its definately Championship Manager '94 EOS.
I still play it regularly today and enjoy it more than the latest Football Manager. |

Wasn't Rugby League Coach by the same people as Super League Manager? It certainly looks like a similar style of game.

I can`t profess to have a massive interest in football games but I always rather enjoyed the management portion of the Sensible Soccer games.

Thanks danwood
Will ULTIMATE SOCCER MANAGER 2 Work on Window 7? I already got ULTIMATE SOCCER MANAGER 98 working which I think it is their third versions where ULTIMATE SOCCER MANAGER 2 was their second versions.... Is that Correct? Last edited by Amiga Forever; 12 November 2011 at 22:13. |
