Problems Networking Miami and Netgear MA401

Hi,
I think I've read virtually every post here regarding setting up my Netgear MA401 to work with my A1200 via Miami Deluxe. In short the problem that I am having is that I can connect to my router only every once in while. I have the prism2 drivers installed, Miami DX, Cardpatch etc. I've changed my security to WEP, added CardReset to my startup sequence along with SetPrism2Defaults with the proper parameters. If I shut my router, Amiga off and reboot everything, about 1 out of 5 times I can connect, browse the web etc. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Do other WLAN devices connect to the router? Does the MA401 successfully connect when used in another computer, e.g. a Windows notebook? How far is the distance between the router and the Amiga? Are there walls inbetween? Have you tried to increase the transmission power of the router? Or another channel?

When connection fails, how does it appear? Are there any error messages? Can the MA401 card be accesses but WLAN fails or is the card not recognised? Is the card connected firmly?

If your connecting via dhcp, you might have to set the lease timeout to 0 in the router.

Just a quick note to let you guys know that my problem was a faulty MA401. I just received another one and it works fine. Thanks!
