Board/Memory issues?
Hi All,
I am hoping for some help! I have an Amiga 1200 and an A1208 memory module from Amigastore.eu. At first everything seemed stable and working great, I upgraded my ROMs to 3.1.4 and I started having issues, the 1200 wouldn't boot at all, I resat teh ROM's and even swapped back to the original 3.0 ROMs but all I would get is an intermitten black screen. I removed the memory module and everything kicked back in to life. I can reseat the memory and sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't, sometimes I get a yellow screen, sometimes I will just get a flashing green power LED and other times I will get a white screen. Without the memory module fitted I get a load everytime. I have tried to clean the edge pins with a rubber, I have tried to clean it with electric cleaner as well, I have also tried to clean the memory card but this is essentially a new module as I have only had it a matter of weeks. Any help would be appreciated! |

Have you tried pulling the whole card out of the 1200 by 1-2mm? That can help with intermittent contact issues, although I've never had this issue myself I do come across it from time to time on the forums.
