Hmmm.... I can't believe it andreas, you are totally correct. I left it despite the power light flashing and it does indeed continue loading. Very strange. I wonder why the power light doesn't flash in 0.8.17r3. Is this some kind of WinUAE bug or does the power light flash when run on a real Amiga? Freaky stuff!!

The flashing power light is the sound filter coming on & going off!

When the machine Guru's and the light flashes, if there is sound playing you will hear it

Well, I think it happens with some GS cracks, but not all. And you've hit the nail on the head again: the one I put into the zone DOES show this behavior on the real thing as well!
