LOL, those files in that link are only snapshot files.
Snapshot files are basically memory dumps of the game in its running state. I have full TZX versions of Dizzy 2 (Treasure island) Dizzy 3 (Fantasy Island) Dizzy 5 (Spellbound Dizzy) Dizzy 7 (Crystal kingdom) Dizzy 10 (Fast food) .TZX files are the exact duplicate of the tape, (Loading screens, special loaders etc), dont confise with .TAP which cannot handle the turboloaders and other weird loading scheme's I use Realspec as the emulator. Edit. The above is for Spectrum, and Realspec is a Spectrum emulator. |

Frodo was originally released for 68k Amigas also. Whilst it is the best C64 emulator on Amiga, it needs a bit of grunt. It probably requires a minimum 040 processor to run with any sort of smoothness, but 060 is more ideal on 68k machines. Magic64 is a better choice for 020/030 Amigas.
The latest version, Frodo V4.1, requires minimum specs of WB 3.0, 040 and gfx card. However, an older version, Frodo V2.4, needs minimum specs of WB 2.1 and 020 only. You can check out the Frodo support page here: http://www.uni-mainz.de/~bauec002/FRMain.html |
