Hi Scott-tissue, and welcome.

You have a great site. But, HOW in the heck did you not hear of one of the finest and well run forums on any subject, let alone Amiga?

Hello All,
Thanks for the kind posts!! Now to answer a few questions.

@ RCK
Well it's there now. I'm going to need another day or so to add it to the main page "My top10+" link menu ;-)

@ Pyromania
Someone had mentioned it a post on Amiga.org.

@ Paul
Thanks for the Welcome!!! Glad to be here!!

@ RetroMan
I get right on that!! Thanks for pointing it out!

@ Fredric
That’s a DAMN good question. You would think after surfing Amiga website for YEARS and personally visiting over 1200+ site something of this size would have come to my attention YEARS sooner.

Thanks

Hello All,
I did a complete site overhaul today. It looks much the same but code has been cleaned up and streamed line. I was able to remove over 500K off the total site upload. Can you say "BLOATED HTML code" Anyway I would be welcome to any suggestions, problems or comments with the new design.

P.S. I would REALLY appreciate anyone who can troubleshoot the problems with Voyager displaying tables and Ibrowse & Voyager not being able to display the form page properly.

Happy Holidays!!
Scott

Enlighten me on something, Scott:

In your new links listing, the description of a site is truncated with ..., ie:

Hall of Light - The ultimate Amiga games database You want information of a game?? Look no further!!! Number of unique game....

How does one read the full descrption of a site? The link just takes you to said page. Shouldn't there be a [More] link for full descrption?

Hmm I never thought of that...

Hello Twistin'Ghost,
Short answer- You have to go to the page(s) that the site has been added to. (Sorry)

Long answer - The way the site is site up, the main page only shows the most resent added links and a brief 50 character description taken from it's full description. Granted it's not very informative but just a little something for the user to see. When you click on that link from the main page you will go directly to that site. Maybe on some future version I can have the user jump to a page with the full site description first. (I've never thought of this)

On a side note some of the descriptions aren't very informative. If I've never been to the site and don't know anything about it I just take my BEST GUESS. For example the description for HOL is in my opinion rather poor. Since I don't much about it I just took what I could form the site and posted it.

Other sites it's really easy. I either know something about it or I just use part of their "about/info" page.

Bottom line - I wish I had a personalized, well written description for each site.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for dropping by!

What? No C.A.P.S. either?

http://www.caps-project.org

Of course, it is quite hard to catagorise, Emulation? not really. Games? Yes, but not really... Hardware info? Absolutely, not not completely...

I'll leave you to decide on that one
