Last time i wanted to play from IPF original, i was asked to enter word from manual (column, row etc.). Although the JP2 from some Super Heroes compilation (also original IPF) works without asking for word from manual.
Didn't know the game has any other copy protection mechanism.

And X-Copy may be very good tool, but it also was a genesis of many non working copies. It patched any errors, at least on screen.

It doesn't look like DTC can write raw stream files. It needs some 'mastered' format I think. Perhaps it can be converted to .scp and written by a SuperCard Pro, but I do not have one of those.

dtc CAN write Amiga stream files back to a DD disk but you need the Kryoflux USB device to do it, it can also write back ADF files too!

I also think the Kixx release of JP2 is unprotected!

Yes, I can see that you are right. I guess I remembered that part wrong. I will try this again to see if I can convert and write that E-ADF file to a real floppy.
