New Website for UK Amiga Users

National Amiga Usergroup

I rescently noticed that alot of usergroups around the UK have been dissapearing so my whole idea it to create a national user group for the UK.

Eventually all members will recieve a membership card and greeting pack once the site is complete and settled.

I am already looking into event organising for next year and have short listed a few venues in various parts of the country.

its a simple straight forward site so dont expect all the bells and whistles,
I would very much appreciate it if everyone within the UK could get behind this idea.

Many thanks, Mick Hayes.

The Workbench design for the site is lovely, not that I haven't seen similar but it's something I can't get enough of

You can still sign up if you are not in the uk, eventually there will be a UK map where people can find users in their area but i will also be having an "Outside UK" users section, so please feel free to sign up

Thanks for the complement on the layout, nice and simple and quick loading (just like workbench really) i diddnt want to go down the flash route as 4 colour gif files load much much quicker

I'm signed up to two amiga forum boards anyways.... The EAB alone is far too much to read, its a good idea to let people know about the things happening in the UK, but theres only two american Amiga shows on the website?

Confusion from myself - sorry, theres too many boards coming along nowadays, and signed up for loads- I'll just get confused- even though I am all the time.

ps- on that note, I'll join up anyways, just not participate in much! ... organise a lan fest where we can all play serial link Lotus or Stunt car racer ;-)

Or isn't this the page to get my Orange Badge and Surgical Aides from?

Not been buzy anywhere recently and thought if I parked my zimmerframe over at your new forum I'd be first inline for the " Freebies "

Ah well I have a flask of tea and some corn beef sandwhiches I can allways wait till the doors open

Hey Mick_AKA

I hope you'll consider implementing a more strict code of ethics on this board of yours? as in... PRO Amiga not "REALITY check" Amiga...

I'm tired of having people spell out the Amigas short comings or similiar...

This isn't about numbers it's about common passion...
