Unfortunately for BPPC owners, the bug in the slave still exists and it is not possible to complete the second stage...

26,300. Ahem.

Well, I've never actually gotten round to entering one, and technically I think at the moment I am winning

PS What's the recommended ship to use? I always go for the 'average' one.

Welcome aboard Anton - always good to have fresh blood

And hey, you are winning

@mailman: did you try the v1.2 install on the WHDLoad site? It reckons the BPPC bug is fixed.

Yes, I did. I even tried the previous version 1.1. Everything's the same...

Is there really anything unfortunate about being a BPPC owner?

Very odd.

Just discovered the same problem on my Apollo 040

I will have to get in contact with Psygore to see if he can conjure up a fix...

Well I've tested the new slave and I have so far got quite a way into level three (beyond that fire-breathing statue head thingy) with no problems so far - so a big thanks to Psygore for his quick work on this.

Game completed using Psygores v13b1 slave on A1200, works perfectly.

Great game, but not as good as the original 4 disk version.

Attention for those who play with WinUAE:
You must enable in the section "chipset" and "collision level" the option "Sprites and Sprites vs. Playfield. It's necessary for the bonus stage because the spaceship crosses the scenery without it, a little too easy in this way

Aren't they selected by default, at least in the Quickstart configs?

After a few attempts on the new slave version, I completed this game!

I played using the second ship. The best tactic is to upgrade plasma, missiles and side and keep them always at full.

Very annoying is the function of automatic weapon activation. Would it be possible to update the slave in order to turn this off?

I don't know, I don't use this option (Quickstart), but you're probably right

I almost forgot: welcome
