Retro City Rampage
I'm not sure if it's a NES game or it's a PC game imitating the NES hardware:

Was orignally for the NES(I think) and to be released in 2005.
http://gta.wikia.com/Grand_Theftendo Apparently it will be on the 360 too, as well as the Wii. |

The impression i got yesterday from a quick research was that Grand Theftendo was just NES style but was never for the NES, then mutated and became Retro City Rampage. Certanly looks good though

Hey guys - I just came across this thread as I just emailed Vblank Entertainment (the creators of Retro City Rampage game)!
Funnily enough I asked them if they'd be doing an Amiga version, they quickly replied to my email to say they had seriously thought about it! So I thought I'd search online to see if anyone else had asked which led me to this thread... So it looks like they could be persuaded on an Amiga version if enough demand is there. I'd recommend emailing them too just to say you'd like the Amiga version made and would buy it. Hopefully if they get enough feedback about an Amiga port then they'll make it happen |

Hm cool. Stylistically I really like Retro City Rampage, but on the other hand it can't hold my attention for very long gameplay wise.
Retro City Rampage was ported to DOS just for the hell of it by the way [ Show youtube player ] |
