Exclamation Possibly the longest shot at getting a game name ever!

Help!!
I cannot work or sleep as this is doing my head in!!

A long while ago I got a cover disk with an Amiga magazine which had a game on, not a great game but unfortunately came up in a nostalgic conversation about Amiga games and i can't remember it's name

I think it was shareware or freeware which makes finding it even more difficult.

The object of the game as i vaguely remember was to mow a garden whilst avoiding a chainsaw which was i think going aroung the outside of the screen. One thing that sticks in my mind is that on one certain area of the garden which you mowed it would play a bit of the neighbours theme tune (random?!)

I would appreciate if this rings any bells with anyone ould they let me know the name? i will be forever grateful!!

God its on the tip of my tongue... It was on the cover of one of the first issues of Zero...

The game had the neighbours tune in it as well.. and a really catchy tune.
You had to avoid the edge of the screen at all costs.

MERV THE MERCILESS!!!!

I know a C64 game like that called Hover Bovver. But no chainsaw but a dog in there. Don't know if it exists for the amiga.

Yes there's a shareware (or PD?) clone called 'Beavis & Butt-Head in: Breaking the Lawn'
Fun as hell (really!)
And "Breaking the Lawn" was obviously inspired by the Pantera song "Breaking the Law" (which they had always "cited" in their episodes)

[edit] if you want to keep your nerves a little longer with this game, use 1 MB Chip Mem! Otherwise you will always have to restart in CLI (ugh!)

I would assume you mean Judas Priest not Pantera

Yup true ... Pantera was "F*cking Hostile", which I know very well due to the weird stuff I listened to back in '93 (Lenny Dee etc.)
