Are the settings on the filter panel exactly the same?

Without logs (both sessions) and config file I can only say: new behavior may be correct. (PAL/NTSC difference)

Weird. Wanted to create logfiles but when I started the emulator today the 2.3.1 Beta 11 now shows the gfx correctly filling the whole window like 2.3.0.

They were definitely identical. I just loaded the same config-file and didn't change anything.

Should the problem reoccur I'll then post the logfiles.

Just started WinUAE 2.3.1 beta 11 with Amiga 1200 default config - only changing the window resolution to 640x400: the gfx in it were all scaled (ugly shrunk) as if "FS" was selected in the Filter settings. But there was "1x" for vertical and horizontal size selected.
Changing that didn't change the result anyway. "FS", "1x", "2x", "4x" - the gfx were always displayed as if "FS" was selected.

Logfiles attached.

P.S. When I now load my Dune II-config everything works correctly as it should (with 2.3.1 beta 11).

After too long delay, another beta, final in 2 weeks or so. really.

http://www.winuae.net/files/b/winuae_2310b12.zip

Beta 12:

- emulate A3000 Fat Gary/RAMSEY configuration address space mirroring (no real world effect but I was testing m68k AROS ROM on my A3000 and noticed this mirroring)
- hrtmon 2.32->2.33 update
- hrtmon didn't work in cycle-exact modes
- MIDI device names are also stored in configuration file (overrides old style id numbers)
- in auto resize and center filter modes 1x/2x.. modifiers change window size
- manual filter configuration size adjustments added, saved to config file
- RTG: do not refresh area outside of bitmap if bitmap is smaller than RTG screen resolution (AROS does this)
- some read write-only custom register changes, bset (and other similar instructions) don't have previously read prefetch data appearing in data lines when reading (like most other instructions do), data is zero. This explains why buggy programs that for example bset #x,$dff096 don't mess up register contents too much. (Fixes Kefrens Party Intro by Wiz, coder thought that bset #10,$dff096 is the right way to enable blitter nasty)
- sample ripper ignored most samples (broken when audio emulation was rewritten in 2.3)
- topmost scanline was usually not visible in autoscale modes
- weak bit copy protected ipfs broke in earlier betas (only if using latest dll)

Could it be that Action Replay support (yeah, I am ashamed) broke somewhen during the last betas? Have been trying to use AR 3 / AR 2 with the last few betas without success.

Not sure if it worked in the last official release.

If it's been mentioned before... please be gentle. Lot's of work in real life.

Does work in the last official release, does not work in beta 12, I'm going to go thru the beta's one at a time to find where it died unless Toni already knows the answer himself.

Edit: Broken in beta 1

Here's the logs

Ran from clean A500 setup..

Action Replay problem is confirmed and fixed in next beta.

Small "Manual" filter mode documentation:

Use this if you want to have exact same screen position and size, even in future WinUAE versions (other modes may change)

Position and size are relative to Amiga hardware hpos=0,vpos=0. Horizontal position and size is always in superhires pixels, vertical in interlaced pixels.

Beta 13: (RC1)

- fixed RESET instruction compatibility problem introduced in previous betas, broke action replay roms.
- BPLCON4 BPLAMx color changes were ignored in far right border (location where actual hpos is 0-7 or so)

Known bugs that won't be fixed in 2.3.1 (too large changes to do in this beta series):

Codertrash / Mexx, crash after few parts. (Disk related)
El Egg Tronic Quarts / Quadlite, not loading. (Disk related)
Risky Woods, sound glitches. (CIA related)

Ohhh, not again!
AFAIR this buggy one may also crash on some real Amigas. Didn't you manage to crash it on one of your Amigas back then? Well, I remember such thing. At least it didn't like my A1000 sidecar expansion at all, so memory configuration too will determine success or failure.

This is different problem. Old problem was hang/crash before first part. This is about crash after few more parts that no one has reported yet, probably because early parts are megaboooooooooring and takes ages.. (btw, [b] in tosec is 100% working image)
