HD Backup to VHS

Does anybody have any experience of backing up an Amiga HD to VHS I’m told it’s possible and I’ve got some kit arriving. I just wondered

oh, you mean hdd backup.
I'd suggest you use some other system like pc2amiga or similar.

that VHS thingy is very unreliable. you'd need a good VCR and new tapes.

Yep - or at least I can get them from my supplier.

If this feeds out a video signal through a bnc connector or similair - you perhaps could modernise it a bit and use anything that captures a video signal and stores it on a medium, i.e. DVD recorder, video capture card on a PC, etc.

@davideo

but that would be like using AudioCD instead of cassette tape with ZX Spectrum and others.
perhaps amusing, but waste of space.
