Asm One Crash

Hello,

I have installed the latest FS-UAE 2.8.3 on MacOX (El Capitan).
I am running an emulated environment with this settings:
- Amiga3000 (68030), 2MB Chip RAM, 8 MB MotherBoard RAM
- Kickstart-v3.1-rev40.55-1993
- Workbench 3.1

I installed the workbench 3.1 on an hard drive (using the installer) and the system boots fine with the Workbench loaded

. I also installed lha utility.
Then I downloaded the lha archive of AsmOne (1.48) and unarchived successfully on the hard drive.

When I launch AsmOne I have a System Failure, code #80000006 and the system is compromised (must restart the emulator).

I have tried to use other emulation (Amiga 500+ for example with the proper Kickstart) but I have the same result.

Try v1.44 instead.

I am having trouble to find it, any hints?
I found the 1.20 but it forces me to use WB1.x so I would prefer to not use it.

I doubt it'll fix the problem though as 1.48 should work fine on a plain 3.1 system! Try booting without startup-sequence and run ASM-One from shell, maybe there are some patches installed on your system which make ASM-One crash.

It needs reqtools.library in LIBS: or it will crash.

Not true! It will simply not use reqtools if the library is not found, it doesn't crash!

Just try for yourself:
Get ASM-One.lha from Aminet, boot plain Workbench 3.1, launch ASM-One_V1.48 -> crash.
Reboot, copy lib, lauch asm-one -> it works.

I did. Perhaps some other circumstances cause the crash and copying the lib only works around it. Anyway... the op has a working solution and everyone should be happy now.

Anyway, if he wants to run 1.48 it should be possible to make it start on all Amiga configurations that I know of (well, not WB 1.3...)

I can also start it without reqtools, but I think I downloaded it from the TFA homepage long ago.

There is still a bug in all Asm-Ones/AsmPros that can cause a freeze (not crash) on some real Amigas, but that's after memory allocation, so the program would at least open first.
