Buddha controller for A2000
Guys I have found a Buddha gold controller for the A2000 for 50 euros.I have a few questions. The price is right and the controller worth to buy it? Or I have to find a more classic SCSI controller for my WB 1.3 Amiga.I want just to have hard disk with 1.3 Workbench and program/files.
The Buddha is easy to install and setup? |

I haven't used it with KS 1.3, but I have a Buddha Flash in my A2000 with KS 3.1 and it's a fantastic card. The drivers are in ROM on the card so there's no reason I can think of that it wouldn't work with 1.3. And yes, easy to install and set up.
However, you do know that there's a brand new Buddha available now for €60, right? €50 would be a good price otherwise for what was probably an expensive card at the time, but with the new one available for €60 with a warranty and full Workbench installers included, it seems less of a good deal. I had a Buddha in my original A2000 many years ago running 1.3 with no problems at all. And I'm planning on getting one of the new ones for a 2000 I have en route from an EBay score. I remember it being a really good performer, but I would rather go with the new one than the old just from a support point of view.
