Is it normal that the Amiga is slow when I play a MP3 throught the Delfina ? (I haven't installed the delfinampg yet).

With the Delfina, are you able to move the player without stuttering ?

The last delfina.library is working on my Amiga.

Thanks for the delfinampg

Of course you can move the player., but just try it, and configure Amplifier... I'm waiting

Edit: If still goes slow try v14.16.
Edit again: It was Amplifier that I was using too.

ATM, I have problems, the delfina is not activated each time I start.
Even when I type delfinit on the CLI, it replies : Delfina.library not found

Is it because of the Blizzard ?

That is what I was going to say, perhaps it isn't the software (only), as you said "Also sometime I have the card non detected..." . Check problems with the clockport connection.

I have removed the Blizzard (because now the software is installed)

I have started 3 times, 3 times the card has been detected by delfinit in the startup.

This is the first time the card works 3 times !

I have not enough memory without the blizzard. I can reun delfinit, delfload. that's all. the card is running.

No fail since I have removed the Blizzard.

There's a problem with the Blizzard. As Fol said, this is maybe because of the 2 caps.

Blizzard 1260 = caps off... That's for sure. They aren't hard to desolder. The problem is to solder them again

Good question. Did you see my thread? Read it. Just try to make it well and that's all. Ah, keep them for later, although in your place I would never change it (the B1260).

Edit: I think I can post it here. I asked Individual computers at the time:

At 10:09 22.01.2011 +0100, you wrote:
>I don\'t know if I can make a support question here. I\'m Retrofan at EAB. I have a B1260 and I\'ve bought a Delfina at Vesalia.>I\'ve heard I have to take off a couple of caps to run on it.>http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=731359#post731359>Please tell me.

First of all: THERE IS NO PIN 1 ON A CLOCKPORT. Numbering starts at 19, ant it ends at 40. Only refer to pictures for correct orientation of the red marker of the clockport cable. Any marker of a "pin 1" on the clockport is plain wrong. The clockport is a *part* of a 40-pin row, and it happens to be the upper half plus two pins. Still, numbers don't change. Only definitions of "where to put the red marker" can change. I use "red marker on 40" and Michael from E3B uses "red marker on 19". These are not to be confused. The caps only need to be removed when the B1260 does not start, for example when it shows a yellow screen on startup. ciao,--

Individual Computers and Vesalia Demostrated what I remember as the best service I've ever seen. But they say too that caps only have to be removed "for example" with a yellow screen.

yes I read it, but you burnt your delfina because of the cap removal ?
mine is working fine without the blizzard, I have no problem.

I have to admit that this guy at Vesalia is so slow, that I prefer to risk the warranty

I sent him back my chameleon cable on 17 december, he received it on 23 december, I'm still waiting.
I would have cutted and soldered another one instead it would have been quicker and less expensive than paying the shipping with tracking#.

I'm going to add that I'm very mad at them : Individual Computers + Vesalia.

It's written anywhere that it's not compatible with the Blizzard 1260 and there isn't a damn pic. I lost 5 hours, and I haven't eaten yet.
If they would have provided a pic, I would have noticed at least that my clock port was in the wrong way (Like I did when Fol shown his pic).

5 hours ago, I had stress of burning the board, but now, after unsoldering the caps if the board isn't working with my fucking blizzard I broke it on youtube. I promise !

first I'm going to do a video that it's working without the blizzard.

Sorry, read my post again, I've edited it.

"yes I read it, but you burnt your delfina because of the cap removal ?" No, and that's the more incredible part, as I connected it wrong but neither IC or Vesalia wanted to charge me Nothing for his service, just because I was an "honest guy" "who they hadn't seen in a time..." or something like this. From that time I've got a great consideration about german people and sellers...

And I do believe really that the fault isn't of any of them, but in the fact that pin 1 isn't exactly in the same place for everybody as it's done in the Amiga clockport. About the caps.... dunno.

If you're so fast as making a video... I'm waiting

But remember to have some good mp3 music to try it

Edit: A good video with your music would bring more visits to this thread and to your web too.... Something like this http://www.myspace.com/music/player?sid=49440736&ac=now ....

I've seen you've left v14.16.
