winuae.ini: can "ConfigFile=" be left blank or removed entirely?

I've noticed that whenever I save configurations in WinUAE, the last saved .uae file is usually put into the above parameter and is highlighted when I go into configurations.

Is it possible to leave this parameter blank or remove it altogether from the winuae.ini file, so I can leave all configurations un-highlighted in the list?

Eh? I don't know what you mean.

I tried deleting the parameter, it stayed gone until I selected a configuration, then it reappeared in a different part of the winuae.ini file.

Does it matter what order these parameters are in in winuae.ini?

Nope, I use the registry and this doesn't happen.

...but not even sure I understand what your issue is. Can you provide a screenshot?

Answer to original question: no. But perhaps some special string can be added that means "never select anything".

Thanks, Toni, but I've decided not to go altering winuae.ini. I will change the occasional file or path reference, but no removal of parameters.

I have to ask, though: some of the parameters seem to be in the wrong order - does it matter or not?

Yeah, I've been trying Portable mode for a while, but I think I too will go back to the registry - I for one have a bit of OCD when it comes to making sure my configs are tidy, and I am forever resetting the winuae.ini, so if I go back to the registry I won't be able to, so I won't have to worry about it.
