I knew you could win in Antarctica... Unfortunately Wales is becoming even more difficult for me... I usually finish the race with a time of 2.20 (without any accidents) but sometimes there are even 6 cars with times under 2.20... |

Yeah that sucks when you play well for 40 minutes and then the CPU decides to make it impossible to place better than 7th in Wales.

The bad news is that I'm still monitor-less for my Amiga 1200. The good news is that I have (for the first time ever) purchased a (fully recapped) CD32. So I hooked it up to my big TV, downloaded the Lotus Trilogy CD and got going.
I'm a bit rusty at this. After the first three races have gone, Easy doesn't seem to quite mean Easy anymore. Easy: 95 |

Found Medium a bit easier than Easy. Hopefully I will get a chance to play Hard mode before the end of the round.

Managed a quick go on Hard this morning with a bit of a hangover (don't try this at home kids), which no doubt explains my stunning incompetence in overshooting the pit stop in Brazil and then running out of fuel. I was winning as well.

Another game done, and yet another tie at the top.
John4p and liviux76 both managed the exact same scores, neither of which were quite maximum on this occasion, but nobody managed to break the deadlock. Parpala was closest, though, finishing just three points worse off and taking third place. What this all means is that the crucial season issues have been settled. John4p has won the league title for this year - his third overall. liviux76 is not quite guaranteed second, but he and LinesMachine will definitely make up the top three. Also, EAB wins the team competition, with two wins in this round giving them a 10-6 lead with only two to play. |

Thank you Graham. As always perfect organization of this whole thing by you and lifeschool!
Was a great season: played through Lionheart, Super Cars, Benefactor, Alien Breed SE, Arabian Nights, Rick Dangerous II, Quik&Silva and Mega Typhoon for the first time ever. Last edited by john4p; 15 October 2017 at 16:07. |
