Turran file works. I can make a raw image that runs in Winuae but the first 20 tracks are non standard so idk about ipf.

I'll try and give this a go. But how good actually is this? Obviously Readysofy have a good reputation.

the test raw image created by @Snoopy1234 is working here

great news, so i presume the adf from the same uploader (Lynk) was just a bad copy or copy protected?

to complete the loading, is required an old kickstart, 1.2 or 1.3

i have finally reached the c64 screen and tried some BASIC instructions

not sure how to load something yet, but at least it is running

it is a Randy Linden work!!!

Seems it doesn't like Fast RAM!! I just tried the two A500 Chip RAM + KS1.3 configs and the eADF I made now loads!

Here is what Amiga Format says.

"C64 emulators
The 64 Emulator, sometimes known simply as C64, was written a decade ago by Randy Linden; version 2 still circulates. It's old and lacks bells and whistles, but it works. You can run files from Amiga disks at slow but bearable speed on an A500. It was written for 68000s with Kickstart 1.2 or 1.3, so it will not run without patches on faster machines. If you've got a modern Amiga there are better alternatives."

im not sure if this is the first or the second version

it should be the first, but there are 2 'colums'-like in the boot pic, that could be similar as a II

in the Tosec there are the adfs of the second version, but they seems all unworking

If you mean the raw attached here, it's the first 1987 version.
I can only make it run on OCS KS1.2 cycle-exact.

Working 1988 version 2 (Unit A crack) in the zone.

I think Abaddon supported nearly all, if not all, the commercially protected ReadySoft games so this emulator probably uses a similar format!

It uses the dragon's lair disk format (alternative version type 1). However, the CTraw file is not clean enough for me to make an IPF, and track 40.0 is modified.

The stream folder is linked in the OP post.

Abaddon needs to add this unsupported "Visionary Design Alt1" format so that we can encode properly the emulator in IPF.

Disk-analyse doesn't support it.

The encoding is quite a bit different than the other Readysoft games, closest decoder would be Cosmic Bouncer. The data is encoded odd even versus even odd, checksums calc is different. There has to be about 30 different syncs for tracks 1-40 (0.1-20.0). Should have the decoder completed tomorrow. The IPF I created appears to be working (loads to the C64 environment), but I need to finalize the decoder before uploading the IPF.

Retroplay thank you very much, that v2 adf is indeed working!

on my side, i have reached to understand how to display the emulator menu
CTRL + HELP does the job, in both versions

its an essential thing, to understand how the drives are configured

A few ReadySoft games were released in the same year (1988) as that C64 emulator so that maybe why Cosmic Bouncer uses a similar format? HOL lists 1988 as the year ReadySoft released their first games on the Amiga!!

@Retroplay, after further tests i think something is not right also in that version

seems impossible to load whatever c64 program or game from the disk (df0 or df1)
the loading doesnt start

the same thing works perfectly fine with the first version; the options are the same with both versions to load from disk

differently than the other bad adfs this at least reach to complete the loading and start the emulator, but then you cant do anything more

maybe a not correct crack, the scroll intro says that wasn't an easy one too
