Just did and no controls (JoyPad or Keyboard)
were recognized and the remapping did not work either.

Tried it 2 days ago and my joypad worked fine. Saturn USB pad, Windows 7. Great Castlevania fan game, technically (good controls, smooth scrolling) and gameplay-wise (nice level design).

Just moments ago Joseman via the CPCwiki forums linked a brand new game that is in development for the Amstrad, MSX, ZX Spectrum, C64 and even the PC. Known so far as Nogalious, this latest game is being developed by LuegoL3go Studios is going to be an action RPG, that may well have a sequel. Although not much is known about the game so far, with very spare details, shown below is the very first game screenshot!

I know our readers like great finds so here's one that I think you'll like, it's an in development remake of Maniac Mansion by Edison Interactive called ' The Night of the Meteor '.Originally Maniac Mansion was released way back in 1987 as a graphic adventure by Lucasfilm Games for the C64, Apple II and DOS, it was highly praised and even today is still regarded as one of the best adventure games of its time. So it stands to reason why a team of people have decided to remake the game in much higher quality detail.

Wow that is fantastic, but really wonder if it will ever happen fully, I don't think doing something by Lucasarts, now owned by Disney, is a smart idea nowadays. Doubt the original Lucasfilm Games team would be happy about it either with Thimbleweed Park just released.

Earlier this year one of the "most difficult games of Spanish Software History" known as Abu Simbel Profanation, was converted to the C64: the third in the Johnny Jones Saga which was first released in 1985 for the Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and MSX. Similar to Manic Minor, the game is a static multi screen platformer with various traps, moving enemies, keys and doors to unlock to progress. So if you've ever played the hair loss stresser, you'll be pleased to know a sequel has been announced for the Amstrad CPC

A very late announcement this one but one I think many of you will add to a must have list of upcoming games, is IshiSoft's, Mario, Wario Land, and Donkey Kong inspired platformer ' Leilani's Island ', which is being developing in C++ on PC, using SDL 2.0 and OpenGL 2.1. First announced in 2015 with a more recent update shown as a gameplay trailer, this game looks to be a real treat for all gamers alike, as not only does it have those classic platforming elements, but will also have lovely cartoonish graphics, top notch gameplay and music by Leila "Woofle" Wilson (Freedom Planet).

Checking through the CPCWiki forums we've just come across an announcement that is sure to excite the Amstrad community, as just moments ago four unreleased games such as Acolyte, Frogger(Deanysoft), Ninja Grannies and Unpredictaball, have seen the light of day and are available to download. Originally these games were hinted at in 2014 after a bit of an annoyance on why C64 and ZX games are recovered but never the CPC versions, such as these unpublished games where the community was more interested in the ZX Spectrum ones.

Games such as Dune 2, Deuteros, Millenium 2.2, Super Thundercats, PSST, CaesarIA and many others were featured on this site, much to the excitement of our readers. So you can see why this latest game jam called ' #Remakejam ' may well take center stage on our site. Basically in two days time, developers from around the world will have to use the duration of the game jam to remake the very first game they created, adapting them to use any new skills, aesthetics, or techniques they developed since they started

Checking through the CPCWiki forums once again we've just come across an announcement that is every bit as good as the previous Amstrad news we featured in the early part of this month. Previously four games Acolyte, Frogger(Deanysoft), Ninja Grannies and Unpredictaball after all these years had seen the light of day and were made freely available to download, preserved as lovely CPC versions of Clockwize's/Video games. Well just moments ago, another clockwize game has appeared and this one is called Captain Fizz - Meets The Blaster-Trons, fixed by SyX and supplied with the generosity of Dean Hickingbottom.
