Thanks for testing and feedback.
Hi StingRay could you upload this to the zone again I'd like to test it.

Space bar remap to joystick always a good idea.

If no one else does it before me I'll upload a preinstalled version of the patch when I'm back home from work. If you have the Heroes of the Lance disk you can download the patch from the WHDLoad site and install it yourself.

The Dragons of Flame patch is more or less finished but there are graphics problems which I couldn't fix yet (as I don't know the reason). Hence I didn't release it yet.

Wow! Been away from the Amiga stuff for a while and as the starter of this thread I also would like to thank StingRay for finally doing this!

Feels even better to be back again!

Edit: I did actually buy an A500 again (after selling mine in 1992) just to play this game because no patches showed up. Not necessarily a bad thing and now I just might have one spare A500 to sell...

Action would flow better with this.

A new update of the Heroes of the Lance patch is now available, second fire button is now supported and can be used to open the menu during game. You can still use the "any key" (not just space bar) to open the menu too of course.

Can't be released until I found the reason for the graphics problems. For now I do not know what's causing them so you'll have to wait some more for this patch. It's not forgotten, don't worry!

I was going to open a thread for Dragons of Flame WHDLOAD support but as I used Search, it seems there is this thread. Stingray, is this project still going on?

Also, there is this post that says it is patched into the zone. I'm not really sure how it goes from there but just wanted to point that out. Is there a way to use it like a WHDLOAD pre-installed package?

Thanks!

It is. I have finally finished the Dragons of Flame patch, it can be found on the WHDLoad site: http://whdload.de/games/DragonsOfFlame.html

Have fun.

Is there a compatible ADF for this? It doesn't work with the version I have.

Copy the SPS ipf image to adf with HxC.exe might be worth a try. The install works ok with MountDiskImage installed from Aminet and using a ipf or adf in Winuae.

The patch supports the available SPS 0985 version. If you have a different original version, send me an image of that very version and I'll support it in an updated version of the patch.

Thanks for the link. EAB FTP also has listings for most but it's a nice neat list.
