Oh, oh! I have one! The Commodore Plus/4 was referred to as the Commodore "Minus/60" in the States where it fell flat on its face for being incompatible with C64 software/hardware. But apparently it had some success in Europe. Huh? What the hell's wrong with you boys and girls across the pond, supporting an inferior machine to the C64??? That ain't right!

Actually, the Plus/4 was only a "success" in Hungary, where a department store imported the dead stock after it flopped in western Europe. The same goes for the Enterprise.

Nothing can compete with SEGA brand in ITaly.
Literally is a popular word to indicate male masturbation Just imagine all the advertising with these consoles and a young boy with a joystick in hand.. SEGA's fan: "SEGA is much better than NINTENDO!" BIG N's fan: "But also not!" SEGA's fan: "Well, if your girlfriend asked you what you want as a gift, a NINTENDO or a SEGA, what would you answer? EDIT: and after this I'll go to hide in shame.. :P Last edited by ross; 05 March 2019 at 19:28. |

I second Ross
but i'd tell VIC20 is quite embarassing for ze germans friends. At least the marketing pulled the trick to rename it VC20, Volkcomputer20, the people computer. |

Well, then thank goodness I only do the C64 in emulation now (Retroarch VICE x64 libretro), because I suspect that with the colodore external color palette it's now finally far superior to the Commodore Minus/4 But yeah, I heard the default color palette for the C64, especially PAL, was terrible though in my rose-colored youth back in 1989-92 when I owned an actual C64 it seemed okay to me. |

One I heard here....
Nintendo Gayboy Gives all different meaning to Sega's handheld... Sega GayGear This topic reminds me of web sites with unintentionally inappropriate names. Speaking of Sega, why should we ridicule them ourselves when they can do it for us?
