Good old broken steam.

You don't have permission to access "http://store.steampowered.com/explore/" on this server.
I've had 2 nice big carts vanish because of variations of that error, and another because of paypal 'Unable to process' error.

And what the hell is with this 'Sticker Book' crap? Looks like it was designed by 5 year olds for 5 year olds.

Makes sense...

To save lots of time for out friend Jimmijo, they have to invent 'add all steam games into your wishlist', so that Jimmijo can concentrate on getting them.

This way they could save mouse or two as well...

Jimmijo, still accepting trade offers?

EDIT: Ok, ok, I give up...

I don't even attempt to use the store anymore on day 1 of a sale, its just totally borked. Nabbed a few games today, Axiom Verge (finally!), Yooka-Laylee, Wolfenstein: the Old Blood.

Yooka-Laylee couldn't have come at a better time, a classic N64 colorgasm with an iffy camera, a million pointless collectables and a great amount of backtracking is exactly what I was sorely missing in my life!

I spent a whopping 31, probably more than I spent in the last 5 years on games.

Is it Valve or the publishers who decide what the discount will be? I find quite a few games on 90% discount, and there just can't be any way to rack up enough sales to compensate for that...

A few years ago: Valve, and they were awesome. Nowadays its the publishers and the sales have become pretty tame. Still good, but tame.

What is an example of a game on 90% discount? I've seen them but they're just the oldest titles in franchises, or indie titles which cost pennies to begin with.

Believe it or not but I didn't own HL 2 and Portal 1 before this sale. Not the worst games you can get for $0.99, I guess.

I've spent about the same amount, which is much more then I usually spend on games. Mostly thanks to 15 bucks for Infinity gold editions (all 3 games) for my kids. (all characters and stories are unlocked, you don't need Infinity pad and characters/locations)

As always, no Fallout/Elder Scroll game with good discount... so did not get any.
