I would. I did In the holiday sale you always get the publisher catalogs where all games get around a 25% discount and on top of that the important pieces in the catalog also go into the daily sales that are in the 50-75% off range. I got all my GTA games for peanuts in the last sales in any case.

Don't worry about missing anything either; if this year is like the previous years, the last day of the sale ALL games that were on sale are offered again.

lol, its apparently not a good idea to be TOO eager, I saw my wishlist slowly updating to get more and more discounts activated Probably best to wait a while until the entire database has had a chance to be brought up to speed.

Alright: score round one.

- Serious Sam 3: Jewel of the Nile DLC
- Puzzle Quest
- Penumbra (apparently I got all three games at once by buying only one!?)

Starting out slow If you want something that is incredibly funny, try the Stanley Parable. Very creative but be warned: its not a game, its basically an interactive and adaptive joke with the biggest pile of secrets you'll ever get to discover. Check youtube before buying, but don't check too long or you'll spoil the fun.

This. Also, try the demo. It's a completely different "story".

So is this likely to get cheaper?

Not up on these sales yet.

I crafted some badges before the sale and got 3 cards, but I sold the cards already. The 'amazing' F2P item drops for crafting a sale badge prove that I was right

Its a feature of Steam, you get digital trading cards for just about anything you do. You can sell them through the Steam client itself apparently, at least I've seen the button to do so. That cards feature is on my personal DO NOT WANT list so I never really cared to investigate.

You'd get a card for blowing your nose and not pausing the game if it was possible to detect that from software.

So I got this snowglobe card for free, sold it for 0.32 €, bought a card, crafted a badge and got the exact same snowglobe card again

...and it just sold for 0.32 € again \o/ I like this stuff

Edit: I renamed the thread. I hope the title is okay.
