I've said it before and I'll say it again: JP3 was terrible because they introduced a monster instead of a dinosaur.

Jurassic World has exactly the same writing derp, but at least there the monster is designed to be a monster rather than piss-poor writing turning it into one.

Saw Star Wars the other day, and despite being predictable pretty much from start to finish, it was an excellent movie.

While it's clear the franchise is going to run and run now Disney have it, they really do need to think of some new ideas for the dark side.

Build a big space station - check, make it hopelessly flawed for no reason - check.

Right now we all know the "Dark side" are going to win the next episode, Rey will probably lose a limb shortly after she finds out Ren is her brother, Poe will be frozen in Carbonite and Finn will be from some long lost Jedi family.

Hopefully Leia dies too, there's clearly a reason Fisher has had no work for 30 odd years, she cannot f*cking act.

And with no booty to show....

Not sure if Mark's work on Wing Commander games can be called acting either.... At least he did lots of good voice acting....

I guess they left his strong side for later episode...

Watched The Equalizer - solid performance by Washington, who took Neeson road making action movies while aging... classical set with bad cops, russian mafia and of course he kills everyone on his path...

Movie did show bit misery around characters.... strong 6, almost 7 out of 10 for some good shooting scenes... worth watching if you like action movies.

Well no on-screen roles maybe except for reference roles; much like Mark Hamill she does well as a voice actor.

Yeah, she's been busy, but probably earned more as a script doctor than acting - although she does seem to be a regular on Family Guy!!

A quick rattle through various websites does seem to indicate he's quite well-respected as a script doctor, too.

I had no problems with Carrie Fisher's appearance or performance in this film. I honestly don't see what all the ruckus is about.

Nah, she was not annoying as R2-D2.

New one (BB8) looks like EVE and Wall-e finally got a kid.

After months of avoiding to get disappointed with new Mad Max movie, saw it last night and must say it... it did not let me down - it was very disappointing, even I love first 3 movies.

Guy running through Fallout game scenery, telling 5 sexy girls to get out of a car... please give me a break... not buying it...

Might be because of beer, but I missed - was there actual plot in the movie?!

6 out of 10, just because of Charlize.

Couple of movies that surprised me.

Lockout

Basically if this movie would have been made in the 90's, it would have starred Bruce Willis. Die Hard in Space with a ludicrous villain that reminded me a little of Vaas from Far Cry 3, I lolled quite a bit. There is only one movie where the main anti-hero does more wisecracking, and that is the Last Boyscout.

Interstellar

I knew it was good because it already got the necessary accolades right here; I just didn't expect it to unlock some feels. I finished it with sort of a lump in my throat.

But still, I'm glad that Mr. Nolan's next movie (WW2 themed...) is going to be something radically different as towards the end it started to become just a tad too Inception-ny for my taste.

I don't like small yellow alien from new Star Wars, too much Disney design. Young Solo is more like from Harry Potter universe. Other than that I like this movie.

Relaxing funny comedy with somewhat surprise ending...

The Heartbreak Kid

Ben Steller, Michelle Monaghan, Malin Akerman (naked, which is plus ) and few other good actors, including Ben's real life dad.

7 out of 10

The only thing (apart from Star Wars) that I have seen her in was The 'Burbs (early 90s) and a few years back she had a small part in The Big Bang Theory (playing herself!).

She also appeared in Fanboys along with a lot of other Star Wars actors.

Watched "The Revenant" lately and loved it. Maybe not for everyone since it is a very calm and partly silent movie which puts a lot of effort in building it's atmosphere. But it also has it's action moments like several fight scenes and that breathtaking bear attack...
I was discussing with a friend how they actually did this particular scene. He was sure the bear was 100% made out of CGI, but I'm not sure about that. It look way too good. Might be wrong though.

They did it in Game of Thrones S5, they can do it in any movie / TV show.

Of course there are actors/actresses brave enough to just show their own skin, so who knows

Braveness has nothing to do here. Most actors sign an agreement to not show the full naked body for certain reasons. These days they can just CGI the real actors head and the doubles body and nobody will know. Except for the team who worked on it.

It's not 'this day' movie (8 years old) and even if so, wonder what price would be to edit it any good...

Still worth watching... be it her or not...
