You Tube Issues

I just logged into my You Tube account and I'm not getting any information listed on the left hand pane with all my subscribed channels etc...

Anybody else noticing this issue ?

I use Google Chrome but I'm going to test out other browsers just in case something is amiss here.

NVM - awhile later on I did another refresh and the left hand pane is now back, I bet it was a Tube issue

Power usage: next time in Chrome open the developer tools (CTRL + SHIFT + I on Windows), click the 'network' tab and then refresh the page so Chrome will record the http calls being done to the site by the browser; you'll probably find that one or more of the HTTP calls will be showing an error code in maybe the 400 range but probably the 500 range. This means something on the server side is borked, nothing you can really do about it.

Note that if you have an ad-blocker, you will see ad-related calls error out regardless but they will probably just say (failed) rather than an HTTP error code.

Exactly the same thing happened to me using Chrome with YouTube yesterday so we're probably both losing the plot.

I was sure it was on the You Tube side and it did clear up later on, but it was just weird that only part of it was not working, if I clicked on the Subscription tab at the top of the page it showed me the proper subs.

Also videos played normally as well.
