Lemmings In-pack Promotional Demo
We (@ CAPS) were recently contacted by one of the developers of an in-pack Amiga promotional demo of Lemmings for Commodore. We did have something like it, but apparently not the one he worked on.
The game itself was a version of Lemmings with levels dedicated to Commodore. I think there were 4 levels, but it could have been 5, but they were all based around Commodore logos - the C= 'Chicken Head', 'Commodore', and the Amiga 'A'... I don't suppose anybody here remembers anything like this? Any information would be very much appriciated! And if you happen to have this game (preferably as original disk but even as an ADF) I would be very interested in hearing from you! |

I found a Lemmings disk (black with white print) that I believe came with my A600. I think it may have been the full game though, so you can probably eliminate this one.

I have..
Two seperate disks, each in it`s own vinyl single cardboard cover.
Dunno whether these might have anything to do with it? they were specials they were selling at a show, well, two shows, one one year, and one the next. I`ll dig em out |

Certainly sounds like the kiddies! Now, these *may* be copy protected in which case you will need to dump them with CT (the caps dumping tool). Is this okay with you? Can I ask what Amiga(s) you have? Also, do you have a scanner? A scan of the disks and cover would be very very cool. Thanks VERY VERY much for your help! |

Wahey!!!
You mean these look like the ones? excellent news! yeah I`m going to my Mothers this afternoon, so I`ll get the covers scanned in, I have a A1200 and a A500.. I`ll have to bring them back to where I live on Saturday.. so I can dump them ( as my A1200 is where I am now, and the disks are at my Mums
I should have them done by Saturday evening sometime ( GMT ) as I`m out all day on the Sat at a track day with my mates Lotus! |

Yes, hopefully they are - it sounds very very likely anyway.
Glad you can scan the covers (& disks) too! Cool, you have a A1200 - that means that if they have any copy protection - you can still dump them using the CAPS tools. If you are willing to do that anyway... Real Lotus? Or a track day with your miggy and a copy of LETC. |
