Yes, you are true Supamax. The maximum speed I've seen was with an Apollo 060 http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=3721

With my ACA I get around 8.500.000 with the Fast ATA MKIV.

Got it all back this morning, runs very well with 30 gig SSD.

Attached CD rom drive, but not recognized, mate said I need drivers, so checked out Aminet without success.

Any help would be appreciated to find drivers

When you install the fastata software it guides you through setting up the cdrom drive so ideally you should have it connected at the time of installing the drivers however I think the installer has an update option, just run the installer on the disk that came with your fastata.

Alternatively download the latest drivers from elbox, they were updated recently.

Steve is correct, install allegro from the FastATA driver disk.
Glad you got it all back and have it booting 30GB without issues.

Can anyone help with this problem concerning my Graphics mem being gobbled up rather than my Fast mem when opening windows and programs? I have Blizzard 1230 Mk4 with 256 meg of RAM.

Ta

What OS version are you using? I mean CWB..., OS39, OS35, AmiSYS, AmiKit..., what?

Now I understand you. OS3.9 alone eats memory as much as it can. To use OS3.9 with your Blizzard 1230 I would preffer AmiKit Real or CWBOS39, as both use CyberbugFix AGA to save memory. Or if not, at least you should update to BB2 first and try.

CWBAdvSp with Scalos is another OS that would work nice and fast with your accelerator.

I bought and paid for OS3.9 and Amigakit prepped it all for me, I don't really want to undo all their work... So I rang my mate and he said he will have a go installing Boing Bags.
I'll report back tomorrow evening...

I would preffer all the other systems I've told over OS39 BB2. Try with BB4.

I can tell you for sure and absolutely trusted: The time you'll spend with your mate preparing the System and playing the first game will be the best you will remember for a long time... If there are beers and good music better... hehe.

No doubt it will after all it was me back in 89 who got Pete into Amiga when I demo'd an A500 which became the death of his Spectrum and the beginnings of a whole new way of computing.

I have noticed that SFS is used to get Pete's SSD HD up and running.

Lanzarote is on my holiday to do list when it happens I will let you know, we could meet up and I'll buy you a beer or three.

DO NOT install anything, that is a perfect install.
I had it running for days transferring 5gb+ back and fore all day long to stress test it. The boing bags are already installed.

@AshtonPete : I can see in the pics you posted that you installed an IndivisionAGA in addition to the FastATA in your A1200. As I feared, I can see that both cards overlap. I intend to have the same set and it would be a pity for me to spend my money for nothing considering that I live in France and that returning the products in UK would cost me a lot of money if the setup doesn't works well. So can you please tell me if you encountered any problems due to the overlapping when installing both cards (twisted cards, contacts with ROMs slot) ?
