brand new amiga wannabe owner and experimenter
Hey all, I'm dreamcast270mhz, a game/computer enthusiast who found myself on the amiga bandwagon. My goals for amigas: Own an a4000/3000,a1200/a500, run amithlon/amiga XL on a few machines, get a minimig and program, get an amigaOS 4.0 compatible computer (Classic with ppc card,sam440(not likely) amigaOne(also not likely), or if someone successfully ports to ppc macs!)

Welcome Dreamcast270mhz. Nice goals, I truly hope you achieve them. My goal is one day to own an A1200 with a fully functional floppy drive.

I will echo the support for your goals, mine include actually getting a functioning miggy 1200 tower out of all the bits I have lying around..... I can also empathise with seuden's floppy drive woes. I have 2 that don't work. Warning... miggy aspirations can prove to be rather expensive

Floppy drives are a pain in the backside... Loving WHDLoad and CF with IDE! I can get virtually nothing to run via floppy except PD!

For some reason I feel I will never live to see Amiga Inc. and Hyperion get over the lawsuit! Therefore OS4 will always be on the overpriced sam440ep, and not on an iBook
  .

Nobody here has an excuse for still having problems getting floppy drives working with their Amiga(s).
