Hired Guns - Joystick troubles..
Hi everyone!
Im new to this forum, but this is definately not my last visit ^^ I have installed the 6 disk cracked version of Hired Guns on my HD (real A1200), but am having trouble playing a two player game with the joysticks.. in three player or more you get the option to choose controller, but in two player, it just assumes you use a mouse.. that is, the joysticks behave like a mouse and just wiggles the pointer around.. My friend played this game with two player and joysticks in ancient times,so he knows it works, but we cannot seem to figure it out.. Any clues for me? ^^ Thanks in advance!! I think it's a bit more complicated than that.
If you choose the two-player game, then each of you will have to manage two characters. That's why the game forces you to play with two mice. I never heard of any kind of switch that would allow you to play in two-player mode and change between the characters you lead. If you want to play with two joysticks, the only option is to start a 3/4 player game (maybe 3 is the better option: one of you choose player 1 or 2, the other player 3 who will have the bottom center screen, which is more comfortable I think) and kill (keyboard control for suicide or whatever) the non-playing character (make him drop his weapons and items before if you want to have them as an additional equipment in pristine condition). |
