Decent aluminum iMac Hi-Toro Settings
Hi all,
I just wanted to share some of my Hi-Toro settings for those of you that play on an intel aluminum iMac. I found the best windowed display size to be 720X566 for PAL compatible gaming emulation. I have OpenGL rendering and Synchronize with display refresh as well as Smart centering on for both vertical and horizontal. I am using the default Hi-Toro A1200 with a 3.1 kickrom. My test game is the classic Pinball Dreams. This might not be too useful to some of you veterans but it might help out someone looking to just pick up and go with EUAE and Hi-Toro. |

We use similar settings although I'm forever dabbling with various resolutions to find one that's just right (which mostly means filling as much of the screen as I can). Why did you come to settle on 720 x 556?

Well, I like using 720X576 in WINUE but it didn't look right with EUAE so I just lopped 10 pixels off. I got the 720X576 from another thread on this forum. Anyway, I think it looks great, nice and centered, minimal tearing. Not as fast as WINUAE and seems to guru more on the same ADF's but I like not having to reboot and I like the fact that the mouse can still be moved around while the emulator is active.
