A4000D power light problem.
Just booted up my 4000D and everything is working fine, except that the power light on the front panel doesn't light up.
The hardrive light works fine...........these 2 lights are both connected by the same lead to the motherboard..........? |

These are seperate leads, connected to different motherboard headers.

Yes your right..........i thinks its 3 small leads that go into 1 x 3 pin connector.
So do you reckon its one of the leads thats dodgy or the connecting pin on the motherboard ? |

Check the lead is plugged in the right way round first. Assuming it is try another LED (doesn't need to fit into front panel - it's just to test).

The way the LEDs fit into their holders is not great - that'd be my guess...
