Go for it, Pyro.

Both games are pretty good. Grand Monster Slam (Rainbow Arts, 1990) is a cartoony violent sport game. It is funny rather than thrilling.

E-Motion (US Gold, 1990) is a Newtonian physics puzzler. It was in the final Amiga Power Top 100 Games Ever. Not everyones cup of tea though, them physics...

I don't think either game is particularly rare. The price and the carriage seem reasonable though. I have the same releases of the games as the seller does. They were part of a software bundle with the A500+, perhaps only in the UK. Nice introduction to the Amiga - the bundle also included Shufflepuck Cafe, Datastorm and Microprose Soccer, amongst others. Bliss.

These are budget re-releases OR part of an Amiga bundle. I have Shadow of the Beast 2 in this very same cassette-like case, because it was part of an A500 bundle and not meant for resale.

Perhaps these two are part of the same pack? Ask the seller about opening the case and reading the little leaflet.

If you can snap it up for 2/3 quid, i'd say go for it. though I don't like E-Motion.

[edit]Oh, I just read the little sticker in the lower left corner... it says ASTRA PACK. As I presumed, they are from an Amiga bundle. I think the Astra pack was from Silica? I dont remember. If you are much into collecting you might want to snap the properly boxed versions.

BTW, is Gland Monster Slam a soft version of the game, or just the japanese version?

Heh heh. Gland.

Grand Monster Slam is mildly violent, Kodoichi. OK, not exactly Dead or Alive 2, but those little ball dudes don't kick themselves up and down the pitch.

Rainbow Islands is just very strange.
