A4000 Battery Replacement (UK)
Hi there!
Just got myself an A4000 again after letting mine go some 9 years ago. It seems to be in reasonable condition although there is some minor corrosion on one side of the battery. Can anyone recommend someone who can replace this for me as I am crap with a soldering iron!!! I am located in Newcastle UK, so someone local would be preferable. Is there a particular battery I should replace it with that will be longer lasting? Anyone got the make / part number? Regards Hybrid (Paul) |

I've learnt the hardware...make sure you get the battery off sharpish and keep your fingers crossed it hasnt leaked all over the motherboard!. As for someone to do it for! arghh, TV repair man? its a straight forward job, you can get the replacement batteries from Maplins.
