A1200 Eyetech IDE 4 way

I just pulled out my old towered up Amiga 1200 and shock it still worked. Though it had the IDE buffer removed and had no HDD or CD drive. The only thing is I titaly forget what way round all the cables are at what jumper setting and the like. I recall that it was really picky so just thought id register here and ask. Thanks in advance.

Hello there, welcome to the EAB, theres plenty of retr0licious mischief to get up to around here.

Its great to rediscover the Amiga, I do indeed envy you some too

now configuring an Amiga is not as straightforward as one might remember or expect, so lets see if i can help

How the cable needs to be attached...

you will need to make sure that pin1 on the motherboard is cabled to pin 1 of the adapter

I will try and get a pic up for you.

Thank you I got it sorted. Though there are still a few problems with the thing. Will have to try recall how do sort everything lol. Thanks again
