A500 plastic motherboard retention clip
Hello! I'd like to remove my motherboard from the lower half of the case, but there's a plastic clip stopping me from removing it.
I've seen a lot of pictures / videos online of A500 interiors and I'm not seeing the clip. Do people just snap these off? Or do I have an uncommon variation of the case? If these are usually removed, what's the best way? I don't want to risk cracking the case in the process. |

Some very old a500 cases comes without this clip. I usually use a flatheaded srewdriver and stick it in from the underside and bend the clip carefully using preassure from the screwdriver while i lift the motherboard. If the clip breaks it's not the end of the world. There are 4 screws holding the motherboard in that area

Same. Gently does it and if you break it off, it is not the end of the world.
