I *really* need to find the time to give Pagestream the once over. I use Quark Express every day and I like it, but upon reading the features of Pagestream, Quark looks like a rookie!

Still using Pagestream 2 and it does everything I need it to - I've also got Serif PagePlus 7, Word2000, OpenOffice and Star Offive 5, so I'm not stuck for choice.
But PS does exactly what I want and does it easily. What more could you need. EDIT BEGIN: Just had a look at the new features, and I think I might be upgrading! Very nice indeed EDIT END: |

Yeah, man...rarely do I ever get excited over a features list like I did when I read Pagestream's. Pyro kept telling me to go check it out and I just balked. I remember Pagestream from the old days and it wasn't bad (unless you've seen the very first versions, which as bad as those were, still were better than the AWFUL ST version, where Pagestream was born). I'm super opinionated about PC DTP apps and find Quark to be the end all (despite a handful of annoying quirks). I never considered PS to even hold up in terms of features, but to see some of the features that EXCEED Quark is what knocked me off my horse. I'm trying to get the publishers at work to switch to the PC version of Pagestream now.

Less then two days to get the full version of Pagestream 4.1.5 for only $90 dollars if you know a registered owner of the package. You can use my name and get the $90 price until 12-31-02.

Incidently, can you suggest to the Pagestream people to update their comparisons chart? The version of Quark that they use is 3.3 and it's so radically outdated from 4.x - I know there's still a LOT of people using that antique, but by the same stretch, us power users are well into 4.x; I cannot get some people to even take that chart seriously due to this.
