Yes works like a charm. And with the newest uade plugin Blazer posted also the loader works fine.

Only SuperHangOn_Loader.cust now doesn't work ... everything else works like a charm. Thanx Blazer !!!!

Blazer: would it be possible to add another sub-option to limit ALL songs to some length not just the ones with unknown length ? Would be really great to have. (enjoying this so much... has become my default player now.. bye bye winamp)

Tried everything from all compatibility modes to running in safe mode, restarting comp etc, etc, and the player just won't play any mp3's at all

Don't know what else I can try I'm running win7 64bit with 8gb memory on an AMD FX 4300 Quad core

@kkgarbod Are you sure the file is not corrupt? Where did you get it and what player can plat it?

I have psf sort of working, it's a bit buggy. I'll see if I can get it to work better soon.

@DH Try to remove all the codec_x.dll from the plugins dir and then move them back one by one until it crashes again. Thus we know if its a plugin that crashes.

@tomcat666 You can do that yourself if you set a time on a song in the playlist though. But I'll could probably add that feature soon.

Just removed all codecs and mp3's are now working mate, so sometime tomorrow, I'll start re-adding each one until it crashes. Then I'll report back here with the culprit codec, or codecs

Thanks bLAZER

It's playable with Eagleplayer (and if I can remember correctly Deliplayer 2.5.0 (for Windows) don't have it installed anymore, and can't remember where I put the Installer). I really can't remember where I got it from. But it's the "end tune" (sad-song) for Kefrens' Guardian Dragon.

Did a test and "ripped" it using Winuae's pro-wizard ripper. The Main song "Guardian Dragon" is playable (the Unic tracker mod) but the end tune isn't

I removed all codecs, and added each codec individually, tried BZR Player, until I added all codecs back, and BZR Player still works and plays mp3's :s

The only thing that has changed on my computer is, I updated "Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) - 12.0.21005" for another program on my PC. Could it have something to do with that? Does BZR Player require MS Visual C++ latest version?

@kkgarbod & bLAZER
Just to confirm that the unic files attached in post #706 work flawlessly in DeliPlayer 2.5 (for windows)

I have attached the Sad Song end tune I already have as a .mod in case you would like it kkgarbod
Attached Files
File Type: zip sad-song.zip (94.1 KB, 129 views)

Me hath a question or two (one might be a remark )

Quote:
MID - MIDI using operating system or custom DLS patches
Seems Midi's isn't working 100% I've got a few that Work and a lot that doesn't :P (some added to test with )

While on the subject of Midis could a extension be added? Miz it's a compressed Midi file

Quote:
Correct file extension not necessary

Plays files without caring of the name of the file. For example: a mod-file can be called mod.song, song.mod or even song.mp3 and will still play perfectly fine
Not always the case. if it happen to have a "emulated" song extension it might not be recognized IE: I had a file (that me extracted from a DS Rom) that had a BD extension (credits.bd) and BZR Player thought it was a Ben Daglish file, when it was a STRM file (with wrong extension, but it is named in the Rom)

Also is it possible to have a option to skip subsongs? I've encountered that when a song has sub-songs it'll play thru all the subsongs before going on to the next song

Unic should be fixed for the next version.

@DH Weird...I don't use Visual Studio so no need for VC++ Redistributable at all.

@kkgarbod
Some formats are impossible to play without file extension, almost all VGMStream files needs it, such as strm.

I thought I had an option for skipping subsongs, but apparently not. Maybe next version.

Don't know why those midis won't play, I'll investigate

This works fine with Deliplayer, WinAMP, etc. so I believe the issue could related to BZR.

The only cure to that bug seem to be to load a new tune or restart the program.
I've tried this on my computer and it works as expected. When I plug in headphones the sound output is switched to the headphones. When unplugged , back to the speakers.

So obviously this differs on Windows versions, software, drivers etc. I know some things that could fix it, but since I can't test it myself it will be kind of hard...

Just got around to downloading v1.03 and just wanted to say that this:

The odd thing is when I drag and drop the exact same files onto BZR Player, they work perfectly... Has anyone else seen this? Or is it just my PC..?! I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, if that helps?
Is now 'fixed' for me in the new version!
Thanks again bLAZER!
