FF7 ( a testoment to square softs developing patience )

Res Evil 1,2 and 3 (love those zombie games)
Tomeraider 1,2,3 and 4

theres a couple more... (then my bro was moving house and decided to dump all of his (over 200 psx games) at my house...) now we meetup once a week eat tika masala curry and retro - game untill the small hours....

You should play RE 3 on Dreamcast it's much cooler than the PSX version

as for the wavetable daughterboard: excellent choises are the Yamaha DB50XG or DB60XG or the Roland SDB-55. ofcourse the ultimate midi+wave combo would be: sb16+db?0XG and an extra isa midi card like the Roland LAPC-I or the SCC-I ... that gives 100% sound satisfaction

- 20GB HD ... it is amazing how fast u can fill it with old games

I have this dos-box: p166mmx/128MB Ram/20GB HD/Diamond Stealth3D Pro (s3 virge dx) 4MB/SB16+DB60XG/Roland SCC-I and a USB2 pci card to transfer files easily... installed is win98se with the unofficial SP2...

Here is one of mine weird old PC games.
The Final Chess-Card from 1989.A card for the ISA port.With a 65SC02-4 CPU.Similar to a C64 CPU.This CPU is a 4 Mhz CPU.
So, if you need true calculating power for the 386/486 PC plug in a ISA card with C64 CPU.

I have all the res-evil games on PC and the latter 2 translate well but for ultimate res-evil its certainly the PSX 1 Directors cut verions..

as a kinda off topic.. have you played "path to fiddlers green"? its a zombie horror fps... with some half decent story

The thing I loved about older games was all the cool random stuff you got with them, I remember buying Wing Commander for the PC which included the big blueprints for all the ships

Same with the Amiga boxed games I have. Ultimas has the cloth maps and metal trinkets, autoduel came with a screwdriver set in the box, their finest hour came with a huge book about the air war over england etc.
