Recently i bought some much retro - gamming action ) circa 97/98 even 99
bought some classic PC games Space Hulk: vengeance of the blood angels Thief Wing commander: kilathi saga, (3 games in total) Wing commander: privatier Wing commander: acedemy Wing commander: profecies Xwing v tie fighter bought a PSX for £5 inc the following FF7 ( a testoment to square softs developing patience ) Wipe-out Res Evil 1,2 and 3 (love those zombie games) Tomeraider 1,2,3 and 4 theres a couple more... (then my bro was moving house and decided to dump all of his (over 200 psx games) at my house...) now we meetup once a week eat tika masala curry and retro - game untill the small hours.... |

Here is one of mine weird old PC games.
The Final Chess-Card from 1989.A card for the ISA port.With a 65SC02-4 CPU.Similar to a C64 CPU.This CPU is a 4 Mhz CPU. So, if you need true calculating power for the 386/486 PC plug in a ISA card with C64 CPU. Last edited by NOB; 27 May 2010 at 18:36. |

Yes.It seems that a 286/386 CPU was to slow ( ) back
in those days.IMO the 6502 CPU is a RISC CPU. |

The thing I loved about older games was all the cool random stuff you got with them, I remember buying Wing Commander for the PC which included the big blueprints for all the ships

Same with the Amiga boxed games I have. Ultimas has the cloth maps and metal trinkets, autoduel came with a screwdriver set in the box, their finest hour came with a huge book about the air war over england etc.
