Rochabian, I have tried your SSF2 ECS ISO, but when I am playing in FEI LONG stage, I always have memory and core dump problems. Do you have the same problems?

A possible way to have Super Street Fighter2 in cd32-888

I've found this page :

http://www.whdload.de/games/SuperStreetFighter2.html

It says that the game require just 2MB Chip for the AGA version
So it should work on a real CD32......and it use CD32 joypad and better graphics than the ECS version

I've tried to run it on CD32 but the problem is i don't know the settings of the startup-sequence to run AGA games (setpatch????) or other WHDLOAD arguments to allow this

I've test to run some AGA games without result cause i've every time got the message 'not enough memory to run XXX.slave"

So, please, give me the settings to allow AGA games to run and i will test it as soon as possible

The ECS version is a very very playable version. Frostwork said that he will include the game. I like a lot. If it's possible also include the SSF2 AGA... wow. But I think if it's possible, only for "collection" aims is better to include every version of this game

Rochabian, the error was playing with Chun Li in the Fei Long stage. I have played before Fei Long against Guille and I haven't got any problem. Also, the error is with whdload.

Right that no need to have all versions........

But if i can do it, perhaps some people will be interested for it as i have made for Street Fighter 2 for Rebel or SSF2 ECS for you and frostwork

Cya

And if there's a way to have a better ingame graphics,why can't we replace ECS version to AGA version

I have a feeling the only way we'll get SSFII AGA to work in 2MB is to get one of the WHDLoad guys to rewrite the installer. There WAS a CD32 version of the game made, it was just never released. It was exactly the same as the A1200 version (although it might have had CD music), so the game is possible to work on the CD32, maybe if it's installed another way. The game also works with the original installer on a 2MB A1200 but requires a disk to be in DF0 to run for copy protection purposes.

I'll pay anyone who can get it working, or if someone can get SF2 working on a CD32 with the CD32 controller (the game is no fun to play with a keyboard).

Tried your FTP last night and was able to see what I was after but kept timing out when trying to download the files.

Bipsftp didnt seem to be up

I will try again tonight after I finish work.

If I do manage to get the files I will upload to a newsgroup so more people can enjoy this fine looking collection.

Hi,again!
@Ubersnug:
I'll try Plotting, if I have it
I don't have Jetstrike-CD32...
As of Syndicate, I didn't try to save, maybe it doesn't work...

@kriz:
good idea, with the fonts! I'll look if it'll work...

@Rebel-CD32:
Shadow Warriors needs keyboard on title
ICFTD2 may work on an original CD32 but doesn't work on emulation...?
Did you try the SSF2-AGA version on a real CD32 or on an emu?
Many (if not all) whdload-aga games do not run on emulation, but some do
on a real cd32... (I think the emulator doesn't care about the cdtv.tm, which
(if I'm not wrong) activates the AGA-chipset...

ATM, there is StreetFighter1, SSF2-ECS and SSF2-Turbo no the 888-iso...
Currently no luck with SF2-jst...

I've asked Whdload developper to run SSF2-AGA on CD32 and hes says to me that it require 2Mb Chip Memory + 1Mb for WHDLOAD

So It can't be run on a basic CD32

What about Spanish amiga games?

http://www.computeremuzone.com/amiga/juegos.php

The only two I remember were included were Army Movies , a very good game that I have enjoyed in a friend of mine Spectrum when I was a child and Risky Woods, an impressive and sucessful game

Also I see that Vital Light and Hammerboy (very addictive, I enjoy a lot with this game in my MSX) will be included in the 888

I wasted about ten CDs trying to get it to run on my real CD32, but yeah, there's just not enough RAM to run the game AND WHDLoad. Although I bet if you had a floppy drive plugged into the CD32, the game would work using the original install.

What a bummer. I think I might buy an SX32 and stick some more RAM in it.

Maybe it's just WIP but you do know that" _ " works as space on filenames in AGS?
