Amiga Games with level Editors?
Hi,
I saw this post on Lemon Amiga about a new scenery disk for Test Drive and it got me wondering how many Amiga games had level editors - might be a source of breathing some new life into some old games. http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/view...asc&highlight= |

It might not be exactly what you're after, but Kikstart II had a built in course designer which I spent many years playing with as a kid.

I've worked on some editors for Mega Lo Mania and Bloodwych in the past... both are useable but i wouldnt say they were release worthy yet! (maybe one day?)
I also looked into New Zealand Story level editing, but could only find a way to change the tile layout (no changes to entrance / exit / monsters etc) Cannon Fodder has a good editor on Aminet, and the New Campaign level set. SWOS has various editors used to update player data. |

Lotus III and Jaguar XJ220 have track editors. And of course - you can draw your own levels for Worms.

PD JetSet Willy Clone "Mr Numpty and The Alien Invaders", came with a level editor if you registered it.
I fired it up a week or so back and still couldn't work out how to use it. I really need to sit down and investigate as it could be a fun way to make a new game for the Amiga. |

There's a level editor for Lemmings 2:
http://aminet.net/package/game/edit/Lem2LevEd210Rg Actually I think a list of games that have editors (either 'official' or third-party efforts like the one above and for other titles like Cannon Fodder) would be quite useful. There are plenty of games out there that would probably enjoy renewed interest if there were new levels developed, both commercial and public domain. |

Would we need another thread containing links to disks / files containing new finished levels or could this be stored somewhere on EAB or Aminet? |

We'd happily create an area on the file server for those levels/maps/new content
