Hey, why don't you try it with workbench.library 45.127 as shown in my mini-system in the Zone (removed now). Nobody said that v40.5 would work. And please, check the libraries from LIBS: first. I don't know what happens if they are loaded from an EPROM. BTW, all my libraries have a CPU detection, which means they will quit immediately when they can't find an 68020+ CPU during the initialization.

Please try Kickstart 40.63 A600 and use exactly my system from the Zone. Kick 40.68 doesn't work here. I've already removed the small demo pack from the zone again. Please, send me a PM if you would like to test GlowIcons on WB 3.1 with an 68000 CPU.

icon 45.5 presettings are "classic" os1.0-os3.1 compatible
for newicons/os3.9 icons you have to activate iprefs
(i dont know if 3.9-iprefs is 68000 comptible)

@Ratte

Thanks, HighGFX and HD270 will be added!

I also thought about Contribs. I am currently working on Picasso96 2.5b, which is Picasso96 2.1b with Matay(Prometheus) stuff + UAE rtg.library + some other obscure updates i came across. I also found that WarpOS 4.3 can be included (which is also WarpOS 4.2 + Frank Wille updates).
So basically i found the following software usefull for a Contrib:

-WarpOS 4.3a
-Picasso96 2.5b
-AutoUpdate (Automatically updates windows contents)
-OpenURL 7.6
-T.H.E. 1.4
-SFS 1.279
-Anarchiver
-ClassAction 4.50

What do you think? What else?

PS:Anyway, i will have to look for suggestions which were previously made on this thread, and the Amiga.org thread.

I agree, if you want a stable/fast WinUAE install you can use AmiKit/AmigaSYS instead....lets keep BB3 for real HW users.

And what's all this talk about making things 68000 compatible? OS3.9 is 68020+ so lets keep things on track please

If there is any speed-gain over base 68020, I'd even prefer that these BB3 updates were 68030+ (with seperate versions for us FPU users) as most people don't even run 3.9 on a standard (crippled) 020.

Another small update for the icon.library to v46.4.129, because the previous versions requested exec.library v44 by mistake and they failed to load when finding exec.library v40 only. Exec v40 is accepted now.

Update to 46.4.131: http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...&postcount=184

OK, 0.3 is done, it is the release candidate. But I am thinking of incorporating the Euro-Update, it is annoying to have to install it separately.
