Do you consider Amiga a console?

Obvious for some, stupid question for others, and a console for few... so, what do you think, and why?

I'd say *NOT*. Just because it has a keyboard, is "open" for outside solutions (than the mother-company) which makes it easly programmable and upgradable, has a floppy drive, has an operating system, and generally, can do almost everything you could want to do on a computer beside playing games.

The CD32 is a console. The rest are computers. The CDTV, well nobody knew what it was for, really.

By any definition, the Amiga is a Personal Computer, CD32 is a console.

As you pointed out, CD32 is both an Amiga and a console, so why would you vote "No, definitely"? Unless this is a joke, and then the joke's on me.

Nope.... the CD32 was a console, well, also a computer as it had WB and all that stuff aswell.....

But all the A500, 1200 etc are NOT consoles.

My Dreamcast, got a keyboard (and a mouse), is easy to upgrade, dont has a floppy but got a CD rom player, got an operation system (Windows CE)
