Holy crap, really well-drawn. Looks like this is going to be an epic Amiga remake, they seem very careful and affectionate towards the old Cinemaware feel (not for this pic alone of course).

I'm looking forward to purchasing the Mac version of this when it is released. According to their Facebook site, it should be on the Mac App Store next week!

Just installed on my PC and fired it up quickly. Not had a chance to play it properly yet, will have a proper go this evening. First impressions are that it looks good and has the classic layout and music. It seems to run on my aging PC in 1080p nicely. Will review properly later on

Just played it for an hour or so, its a very faithful recreation and good fun, they really have just modernized the game graphics and added in some voice-overs, the whole core of the game is intact and feels pretty much the same, it looks really good and has the retro feel using a USB Speedlink Competition pro stick. The original is one of my favorite Amiga games and i still play it often so i'm glad they didn't ruin it, be interesting to see what other think.
I did find it quite easy on Normal hardness level compared to the original game, especially the 3D in-flight combat where i can take down enemy planes pretty quickly and easily, i only died once and that was due to crashing into the enemy by accident. Ill try it on hard and see how that compares to the original. |

Can't figure out how to log on to download the damn thing.
Managed it finally, haha. Nicely presented although it crawls along on my aging laptop! Last edited by spud; 12 October 2014 at 09:23. |

Great games from a great -nostalgic- company. I'll never forget the feeling from "it came from the desert" and the hours I dedicated to the "tv sports basketball" on my Amiga back in 90s. Gonna definitely check the new "wings" game out.

I got an email saying I could download it. So downloaded it from my sons phone and installed it. Had it running at PlayExpo, looking forward to actually playing it properly. The narration is a nice touch as that wasn't there in last BETA.

Installed it on my pc too. It renders in 4K resolution!!! Is the first game i witnessed in 4K and it is still so smooth. And it has the Amiga version feel, so you get re-addicted real soon, esp with the gorgeous graphics.
