Load Cubase made sample in protracker

Hi folks I hope I'm in the right section, if not them please feel free to move me to the correct one.

I'm trying to get a sound sample I made in Cubase on Windows to be recognised by Protracker in Winuae.

I tried exporting the sample as an AIFF which is the closest thing I could find to an Amiga IFF and I set up a virtual hard drive and put the file in there but it's not showing up. I'm not too sure what I'm doing but I made it so the Amiga could handle the bit depth and sample rate but I think it's the format that's wrong but I don't know how I'd convert it into SAM or similar Amiga sound formats.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks!

AIFF has nothing to do with IFF, but you can also import WAV files as raw if tey have the correct settings.
In any case, the solutions using SOX are the best ones. Check the following threads in addition to the one mentioned by emufan:

Try the great Wav2Amiga shell script. It uses sox to batch convert wav to iff.
