Exploring cover disk is fun and playing CD32 games off CD is nice and nostalgic. Still haven't ever manged to get DotC2 to work though.
An alternative to an audio mix (and slightly cheaty) is to run the CD sound through a separate speaker so Amiga comes out of TV/monitor and CD speaker. Very easy to balance the sound this way. Unfortunately, now that I have V1200 this option doesn't work as all Amiga sounds comes out via jacks but Vampire in RTG mode comes out Hdmi but has no sound. Need to get or build a sound mixer and then connect both CD and Amiga sound to the speaker. Happy to attempt to build one but would need idiot proof instructions... |
