Unhappy Need help to find caddy for cd drive A2000

I just bought a Amiga 2000 machine, seems to be very nice indeed. The only thing missing is a caddy for the CD drive. I tried flee-bay nothing at all. Now to install my WB3.5 or 3.9 I need a workable cd drive. So where can I buy a cd caddy, or alternatively a scsi cd/dvd drive??? Please help.
Regards

I had a very good look at fleebay, yes there are drives around in the us but they want between 35 and 55 dollars for handling and postage. You probably can get an IDE adapter for less. Caddy's seem to be impossible to find, at least on fleebay. Well will look around more.

Send me a PM and I will send you one. If it is a regular caddy like the one in the cdtv it will do the trick nicely.

Thanks in advance. It appears to be an original Amiga cd drive so the caddy should fit ok. I only bought the box over last weekend and it will arrive probably on Friday here in Perth. I send you a PM with my mailing adress.
Best Regards

I need to connect a hard drive taken from my Amiga 4000/040 to a PC or a Macbook Pro.
I understand there is a thing called a Caddy to do this. Which one do I need?

regards

why do u need a caddy ???

if you going be swapping the drives often between the 2 machines then it might be useful but I wonder whats stopping you connecting the HDD straight to the power & data cables ??

am sure fols got u sorted iether way
